We started Proper Pasture with a simple idea - to offer our community food that is healthier, better for the animals and regenerates the environment. Our farmers are dedicated to regenerative agriculture, an approach to farming that produces high quality, nutrient dense food while helping to reverse climate change.
Proper Pasture provides pasture raised food that's good for you and our planet. We work directly with farms in Queensland, Western Australia, England and New Zealand. All of our farms are committed to regenerative agriculture. As consumers ourselves, we ONLY work with farms that we trust.

Food that's healthier
It's important to us that our food is ethically farmed, nutrient dense and free from any harmful nasties. We work with farms that believe in this too.
Better for the animals
Our animals graze on open pastures and grow at a slower, more natural pace than conventionally raised animals. The result is meat that is higher in nutrients and healthy fats compared to conventionally raised animals.
Regenerates the environment
Regenerative Agriculture describes farming and grazing practices that, among other benefits, reverse climate change by rebuilding soil organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity – resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle.
